 GDT was formed in 1996 by Gary Drake who is a former British Singles and Doubles Champion. Gary is a member of the Great Britain over 35's team and has represented Devons County team for the last 21 years. Gary is a Member of the All England Club Wimbledon, where he won the over 35's British Grass Court Championships in 2007.
GDT is managed by Gary Drake and Ricky Dennis (Operations Director). Ricky Dennis has been with the company since 2000 and during this time has help grow the business to include 15 venues and over 8 full-time and numerous part-time qualified coaches. Between them, Gary Drake and Ricky Dennis have over 25 years experience in the tennis industry including 7 years at one of the country’s leading privately owned racket & health clubs. GDT have good working relationships with LTA National & County offices and always work closely with local authorities, schools and sports leisure operators to maximise club and school opportunities. |
